Twitter Q&A with Twisted Pixel

tijdje geleden konden we via Twitter met spelontwikkelaar Twisted Pixel enkele vragen stellen over hun komende arcade game Gunstringer, u weet wel die leuke marionette Kinect game zoals in onderstaande video

 

blijkbaar werd de trailer aangepast want voordien gaf men symbolisch het beeld dat het geen game voor PS3 of wii zal zijn, enkel kinect…misschien kwam de trailer ietwat discriminerend over ?

we vonden ook enkele gameplay beelden online

 

Twisted pixel selecteerde enkele mensen om hun vraag te publiceren:

grote verassing is dat microsoft samen met Twisted pixel niet het game als XBLA gaan uitbrengen, maar als retail disk ! u weet wel zo’n leuke cd in je handen.

dit zorgt ervoor dat er meer content op de disk kan en de game niet beperkt word tot enkele levels, maar een volwaardige game zal worden ! we kijken er naar uit !!

No MS points! The big news from E3 is that The Gunstringer is now purchased with real actual money from your physical wallet or credit card!

To understand why, it’s probably worth talking about our process behind making The Gunstringer. For most of this time, we haven’t been making a “Kinect” game or a “XBLA” game, we’ve just been making the most awesome game that we could in the time we had.

It turns out that a lot of people thought we made a pretty good game, and one that’s way bigger than we even anticipated. After seeing where we were a few months ago, Microsoft came to us with an awesome deal: make The Gunstringer a retail title, in exchange for more time to polish the game and make the game a retail-quality title that loads more people will love.

This means a bunch of things:

• – We have more time to make the game super awesome and amazingly polished!
• – We have way more space on the disc to cram with unlockables and extra content. Our development servers have already been straining to keep the massive influx of content in one place!
• – You can pre-order it and have it delievered to your house or work desk, which may even be quicker than you downloading gigabytes of game once you get home!
• – You can use the money in your Xbox wallet to buy Ms. Splosion Man!
